Women in Estate Agency

What started as a Facebook group where like-minded women could give and receive support about the challenges they face in the industry has grown into a platform that can inspire real change. The Facebook group is now almost 3,000 strong, and this year it held its first conference, which was a sold-out event.

It is now planning for its next conference, which will be held on 7 March 2024. It will include guest speakers from across the industry and will be full of fun activities, as well as opportunities to help women in the industry form new connections and hear inspiring stories from industry leaders.

Until then, it will be sharing its message through a series of webinars. The first webinar took place in October and included an overview of its work, tips on how to market your estate agency business, and insight into how it formed its committee.

How can you get involved?

Women in Estate Agency promotes diversity and inclusion, which is why its conferences are open to everyone, not just women. Change isn’t going to happen unless everyone is on board, which is why it made the decision to include male members within its committee, too.

The Facebook group is bursting with useful information and is a great place to start if you want to join the community. There are local reps alongside committee members who help spread their mission, and there are always activities you can get involved in. Committee members are regulars at industry events, and they were proud Silver Sponsors at the recent EA Masters.
