For the sake of accuracy and just for the record, I acted for Swiss Re in purchasing the site from the late Alan Winter of Trafalgar House, represented by Tony Gibbon, who, at that stage, had worked up some interesting initial concepts including a shorter, fatter version of the building.
We worked with Swiss Re and Norman Foster all the way through from development of the detailed design and the eventual granting of planning consent for this building. Knight Frank’s involvement with the building has continued as we went on to buy the building and now manage it as well.
