The Northern Ireland Investment Fund has awarded its first loan, allocating £20m to finance the redevelopment of Merchant Square in Belfast.
The fund has provided a senior debt facility to Irish developer Oakland to re-develop and extend existing offices in Belfast. The loan matches the existing mezzanine debt and equity behind the scheme.
