Berkeley Homes hails annual figures as profit passes £550m

Pre-tax profit at Berkeley Group rose 6.4% to £551.5m in the year to the end of April.

The upmarket housebuilder also posted a 23% leap in earnings and a rise in the pre-tax return on equity.
