Empiric’s student digs break through £1bn valuation barrier

Empiric Student Property’s portfolio has broken the £1bn valuation barrier as it posted improved figures across the board in its results for the six months to the end of June.

Net asset value (NAV) per share was up 2% to 108.5p, compared to 105,6p at the same point last year, while the value of its 9,401-bed portfolio rose 3% to just over £1bn, from £945m last time.
