FTSE 100 climbs on back of weak pound

The FTSE 100 closed a strong 56 points higher on Monday, as a weak pound bolstered the blue-chip index.

During the day, the pound dropped 0.38% against the Euro, while it fell 0.3% against the US dollar. The FTSE 250 was also up on the day, ahead by 158 points to 21,318.
