Hotel investment plunges in 2020 as Covid-19 bites

Investment in the UK hotels market plunged to ten-year lows last year, as the Covid-19 pandemic hit deals.

According to Savills, UK hotel transaction volumes reached £2.3bn last year, 55% down on both 2019 volumes and the ten-year average.
