Housebuilders rise on hope of a softer brexit

Housebuilders rallied on the FTSE100 on Wednesday, making up three of the top 20 best performing shares on the index, as investors reacted to Prime Minister’s softening stance on Brexit.

Over the day Teresa May held talks with Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn in the hope of coming to a compromise agreement over Brexit, which would receive approval from the House of Commons.
