Intu to reveal finance chief as new CEO

Shopping centre giant Intu is set to reveal it has appointed its finance director Matthew Roberts as chief executive, sources close to the company have confirmed to Property Week.

The appointment, which will be announced on Thursday morning, follows a nine-month search for a successor to David Fischel, and confirms weekend reports of the appointment of former Travis Perkins director Tony Buffin were wide of the mark.
