L&G appoints Capco director as it prepares for £750m affordable homes push

Legal & General Affordable Homes is to pump £750m into new affordable housing projects across the UK, increasing its development pipeline to nearly 3,500 homes, across 41 schemes.

The push comes as the group expands its affordable housing team with the appointment of Anette Simpson, who has joined the business as director of developments and partnerships from Capital & Counties. She will lead the direct delivery of Legal & General’s affordable housing schemes and oversee all aspects of development to legal completion.
