Landsec takes majority stake in Salford’s MediaCity for £425.6m

Landsec has acquired a 75% stake in Salford’s MediaCity £425.6m, the second big deal for the group this week following its agreed £190m bid for U+I.

The 37-acre media, digital and tech hub in Greater Manchester was previously owned by a 50:50 joint venture between Legal & General and Peel L&P.
