Redrow has posted £1bn in revenue for the first half of its financial year as the stamp duty holiday and the end of the last few months of the current help-to-buy scheme led to increased demand from home buyers.

Revenue grew 20% to £1.04bn in the six months to end-December 2020, while sales completions rose by a fifth to 3,065 units.
