Specialists and family offices lead UK hotel investment but volumes tumble 60%

Hotel transaction volumes totalled around £860m for the first six months of 2023, 60% below investment volumes for the same period a year earlier.

Data from HotStats showed revenue per available room (RevPAR) in London was 50% higher in the first five months of 2023 than in the same period in 2022, while gross operating profit per available room (GOPPAR) for the year to date equalled ts pre-pandemic performance.
