Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust (PIT) has posted a net asset value total return of 5.6% for the six months to the end of June, driven by outperforming property portfolio.
The trust’s portfolio was valued at £458m, up from £433m six months earlier, while the property total return was 4.7%, ahead of the IPD Quarterly version of Monthly Index total return of 4.2%. The portfolio has a 53% weighting to the strong industrial sector, with 14% of the portfolio being in the struggling retail sector.
