UK property funds recover from post-Brexit vote shock

Most funds have started to grow again, but Aviva’s is among a minority that continue to shrink

Many of the smaller funds, such as Kames Property Income and F&C UK Property, have grown significantly since the Brexit vote and some of the larger funds have also gained ground.

L&G UK Property has grown from £2.3bn to £3.1bn, overtaking Henderson UK Property to become the second-biggest property fund for retail investors. However, other funds have shrunk considerably. Aviva Investors UK Property Fund has almost halved in size to about £940m and has continued to see outflows over the past year.
