WeWork valued at just £6.1bn as Softbank moves to take control

SoftBank is in advanced talks to take a majority stake in troubled flexible office group WeWork, in a deal that values the group at just $8bn (£6.1bn).

According to reports coming out of the US, the Japanese tech giant has agreed a funding deal of between $4bn and $5bn to take control of the We Company, WeWork’s parent group.
