Prupim
has appointed Henri Vuong as research analyst. She will focus primarily on researching and modelling the high street retail sector in the UK and office property markets across Europe.

Colliers CRE
has taken on five graduate surveyors in its Bristol office: Susannah Colvin, James Taylor and Nick More join the regeneration and development team; Ben Bagnall joins the landlord and tenant office; while Fiona Duncan starts a one-year placement in the logistics and industrial team.

Malcolm Hollis
has made four promotions: Jamie O’Brien from associate to partner in Manchester; and Andrew Cartmell in London, David Cox in Newcastle and Simon Goodrick in Birmingham from chartered building surveyor to senior chartered building surveyor. Jason Shannon has also been appointed as a partner in the London office. He joins from Sanderson Weatherall.

Simon Dodd
has joined Christie & Co’s corporate investment and development team. He will work in the London corporate office, providing development and brokerage advice to clients in the leisure and hospitality sectors. Dodd has more than nine years’ commercial property experience and has worked for Christie & Co since June 2006.

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor
has appointed James Hartley as a surveyor in its Nottingham office.

Hartley has more than three years’ experience in the Nottingham market and is working towards the final stages of his APC.

He will focus on office and industrial agency in the Nottingham market.

Drivers Jonas
has appointed Michael Meadows and Kate Espezel as planner and senior planner respectively in the firm’s London planning team.

Alex O’Brien
trainee assistant surveyor at Rowland Jones & Partners of Swansea, has been awarded the David Alexander Memorial Scholarship. His aim is to pursue a postgraduate diploma course to work towards chartered membership.

Jones Lang LaSalle
has appointed Matthew Bagley as head of its residential development and investment team in Leeds. Bagley joins as an associate director and will work on the disposal and acquisition of residential sites across Yorkshire and the north-east. Nick Freeborn and Madeleine Jones have joined as graduate surveyors in JLL’s western corridor office. Freeborn will work in the national industrial agency team, while Jones joins the national offices team.

Mark Jacobs
has joined Ryden as a senior building surveyor. He will be involved in Ryden’s new energy performance certification service and arrives after eight years with Surveying Solutions.

Lambert Smith Hampton
has hired trainee surveyor Charles Harvey in Cardiff. He will assist in disposal, acquisition and development consultancy and is participating in a postgraduate programme development at the College of Estate Management in Reading.

Vicky Dudbridge
has been appointed as an associate in King Sturge’s Bristol office. She joins from Knight Frank and will have responsibility for growing the residential arm of the business. David Jones has also rejoined the company as a senior associate in the international valuation department, based in London. Jones first joined King Sturge as a graduate in 1999 and moved to its Warsaw office in 2002 before taking jobs with DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield.

Smith Price
has promoted associates David O’Keeffe and Mark Cherry to executive positions on the board. O’Keeffe joined in August 2005 having previously been a divisional director in the professional department at Nelson Bakewell. Cherry joined as a graduate in September 2001.

Knight Frank
has promoted three members of its Manchester-based, north-west commercial team to partner: Phillip Barron, Daniel Bourmad and Peter Williams. Also in Manchester, Darren Loofe in office agency, Sarah Jinks in valuations and Christopher Hibbert in investment have been promoted to surveyor.

The British Property Federation
has made four appointments: Patrick Brown from Pozitiv Communications as senior policy officer for sustainability and construction; Kurt Mueller from the Social Market Foundation as public affairs manager; James Anderson as residential policy officer, having previously worked on construction and special projects; and Marie Lalevee as information coordinator.

Victoria Epplestone
has joined Cala Homes’ Birmingham office as a senior land manager from Persimmon in the West Midlands. Epplestone has more than four years’ experience of buying development land.
