I hope proptech’s growing voice will lead to a greater understanding among those at the traditional end of the industry about the tech solutions available.
More structure around the burgeoning proptech scene, driven by the likes of James Dearsley’s Unissu, should mean more companies have the confidence to use proptech.
With responsibility for employee comfort continuing to shift from occupiers to those that own or manage office buildings, I expect to see an increasing focus on hospitality, amenities and flexibility in the office market. While many will try a ‘one size fits all [millennials]’ approach, it will be those that truly get to know the needs of their occupiers that thrive.
Resolution: To lift 60kg in a deadlift at the gym. Wish me luck.
