Last month, more than 100 people from across the property industry took part in PropBike, an event combining mountain biking and networking hosted by property portal PropList.

Cyclists could choose to ride a range of purpose-built trails at the event, which Property Week was proud to support as media partner and took place at BikePark Wales. Some played it safe with intermediate routes including ‘Melted Welly’ and ‘Willy Waver’, while others went for the more advanced ‘Vicious Valley’ trail.

Riders spent the day cycling around the hills and valleys of South Wales before a dinner and networking event in the evening. There was also a raffle with prizes including GoPros, golden tickets to BikePark Wales and even a professional bike.

The event raised £3,790 for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team.

Sam Empson, sales and marketing director at PropList, says the event was a resounding success. “It was great walking around the event at lunch and after the trails closed to see a sea of huge smiles and people from complete beginners to seasoned experts sharing their riding adventures with each other while building some great contacts within the industry,” he says.

“This year’s event was amazing and I’m looking forward to it being bigger and better next year.”
