CoreNet Global UK, the body that promotes best practice in corporate real estate, has revealed the shortlist for the Corporate Real Estate Awards.

More than 700 guests will attend the sell-out event, which is supported by Property Week.

The nominees are:

  • Corporate real estate executive of the year: Nokia Siemens Networks’ Peter Doran; the BBC’s Chris Kane; and Co-op’s Lynda Shillaw
  • Corporate real estate partner of the year: Kathy Bone of Jones Lang LaSalle for her work with Motorola; Caroline Fitzwater of Jones Lang Lasalle for her work with Microsoft; and Stephen Norris of Cushman & Wakefield for his work with Nokia Siemens Networks
  • Award for excellence in innovation: Simon Elmer of Cushman & Wakefield, Pat McGill of Deutsche Bank and Herman van Ree of Capreo Consultancy
  • Award for excellence in sustainability: Simon Jackson of Gensler and Stephen Perkins at Herman Miller; Sean Lockie of Faithful & Gould; and Chris Seely of Skansen

The CoreNet Global UK & NB Real Estate Student Essay Prize will also be presented at the awards dinner, to be held on 6 February 2008 at the QEII Centre in central London.

Ray Carneiro, global head of property and facilities management services at ABN Amro and a former award winner, said: ‘To win a CoreNet award is a highly significant achievement.’
