The megastar’s eight-bedroom property in St John’s Wood Park, north-west London, now on the market, even comes with the furniture – sat on by pop royalty.
The 6,300 sq ft mansion has a large garden, gym and passenger lift. The Barbados-born singer spent the past two and a half years with London on the brain before returning to the US.
The property has a rich history if you’re not wild about Rihanna. Built around 1844, it is the only villa in the street built by William Holme Twentyman and designed by royal favourite architect John Shaw Junior to have survived into the 21st century.
The first owner was a diamond magnate and the house changed hands many times before it was – aptly – bought by diamond-wearing Rihanna. With office space up in the air, is any generous benefactor willing to house the Rihanna fan club HQ – AKA new Property Eye towers?
