Until recently, one of my greatest regrets at work was that I hadn’t spent a significant amount of uninterrupted time with Greystar’s operations – including the property management, maintenance, front-of-house concierge and lettings teams – on the ground at one of our buildings.
“I plan to start a family imminently.” It’s not something many women would feel confident saying in an interview, nor is it something many interviewers would expect to hear.
“So you rent? When will you buy a house?” I have been asked these questions countless times during my past four years living in London.
