True extent of the property pay gap begins to emerge

Initial analysis suggests women are paid on average just over a quarter less across agents and developers.

Property Week went to press on the same day as the deadline for reporting, which hundreds of firms were expected to miss, so a comprehensive assessment of the true scale of the pay gap is not yet possible. However, our analysis of 28 of the large property firms that had filed by Wednesday lunchtime suggests that the final picture will be far from flattering.
