Discount grocery retailer seeks ‘supermarket space’ in zone one as it opens new front in expansion campaign.
Property Week understands that the German-headquartered discounter plans to open a number of stores in zone one and is also seeking sites in zone two, where it already has a small presence.
The smallest size that Aldi would consider for a central London store is thought to be around 8,000 sq ft.
