AMB Property Corporation has let a total of 446,000 sq ft of industrial space across two parks in Germany.

It has fully let a 328,180 sq ft facility at AMB Hausbruch Industrial Center in Hamburg, Germany to BSN medical GmbH.

The medical device company had already agreed to take just over 100,000 square ft, and increases their lease by 118,360 sq ft of additional space.

Mo Barzegar, managing director at AMB Europe, said: ‘AMB adapted to market conditions in our management of this infill asset.

‘We acquired the site as part of our AMB Hausbruch Industrial Center, with plans to demolish the building and develop a modern distribution facility in its place. However, we were able to meet the needs of a highly respected customer for 10 more years, and to significantly expand their leased space.’

AMB has also let around 111,904 sq ft with to a cargo transportation company in AMB Altenwerder Distribution Center 1, a modern building near Hamburg’s Container Terminal Altenwerder.

At 31 March AMB’s Europe’s portfolio consisted of 13.9m sq ft of logistics and distribution properties.
