Asian insurance giant acquires 'birthplace of the Euro'

Patrizia Immobilien has acquired the landmark Eurotower office building in Frankfurt on behalf of Taiwan-based insurance company Fubon Life.

Acquired off-market for an undisclosed price, the 40-storey building is the former headquarters of the European Central Bank (ECB) and is known as the ‘birthplace of the Euro’. The ECB Single Supervisory Mechanism, a division of the ECB, is now the building’s sole occupier.
