Aviva and Obayashi takes control of City of London scheme

Aviva Investors has completed a joint investment with Japanese construction group Obayashi Corporation to acquire the remaining 50% share in 20 Gracechurch Street in the City of London.

The deal, which is understood to be valued at close to £200m, brings both the freehold and leasehold for the 16-storey property under the full ownership and control of Aviva Investors and Obayashi.
