Baker Tilly, the accountancy and business advisory firm, has signed up to take the entire first floor of Hull’s Humber Quays office scheme.

It has taken on a 15 year lease for the 7,866 sq ft floor at the office scheme from developer Priority Sites.

Two Humber Quays, which was developed by Priority Sites in conjunction with the city’s economic development agency Hull Forward, has already attracted PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barclays Commercial who have taken space at the scheme.

The top floor suite at Humber Quays has been taken by a local interior design company, Chameleon Business Interiors, and there is planning approval for a further 200,000 sq ft of office development, supported by ancillary retail and leisure uses.

The Humber Quays scheme has moved Hull city centre office rents up to a headline of £17/sq ft from £9/sq ft in 2002.
