Bank of Scotland today announced that Ian Robertson, managing director of its relationship banking division, is stepping down from his role in June

Robertson has worked with Bank of Scotland for 36 years and has served on its board since 2000.

Following his retirement, Robertson’s role has been split into two. Adrian Grace, the former head of UK insurance operations at Barclays, has been appointed managing director of commercial business, and will assume responsibility for working with trading firms.

The Bank of Scotland is yet to announce who will take charge of its relationship banking real estate business.
