The royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea has granted Beaumont Properties planning permission for its 120-bedroom hotel in Knightsbridge.
The £70m hotel on Pavilion Road will replace a multi-storey car park. The hotel will boast a business centre, a lounge, a restaurant and bar, a fitness club and 23,000 sq ft of retail space that will be on the ground and basement levels.
The hotel is designed by PRP and Hamiltons Architects on behalf of Beaumont Properties.
The architects said: “This development will breathe new life into the area with a high-quality, contextually-oriented contemporary architectural design that will attract people and provide a new destination for visitors and the community into this undiscovered corner of Knightsbridge.”
