Bluewater, the Kent shopping centre, has launched a new brand-led advertising campaign this Christmas.

The new campaign, developed by Klein O’Rorke, includes 20” television ads, press and radio executions.

The campaign has aired on GMTV and X-Factor in the London and Meridian Kent regions.

The campaign marks a return to the original drop of water used to launch Bluewater in March 1999.

Andrew Parkinson, Bluewater general manager, said: ‘Bluewater’s return to television advertising is long overdue. The challenge for all retail destinations this Christmas will be driving footfall and consumer spend.'

Experian's 2008 Retail Ranking places Bluewater at number nine in the UK, the only non-city in the top ten.
