Buyer revealed for £48m Clapham Junction Debenhams

W Real Estate acquires Arding and Hobbs

Developer W Real Estate has been unmasked as the buyer of BL’s Grade II-listed, Debenhams-let ‘Arding and Hobbs’ building in Clapham Junction.

The sale forms part of British Land’s strategy shift away from high street stores in favour of shopping centre and mixed-use assets. British Land has appointed CBRE to sell off its remaining Debenhams freeholds in Bournmouth, Cardiff, Chemsford and Chester.
