CAPITAL&CENTRIC film hub Liverpool

Developer Capital & Centric has teamed up with a major UK film studio for plans to convert the former Littlewoods building in Liverpool into a £50m filming complex.

The proposed development, dubbed ‘Littlewoods Studios’, will feature two new 20,000 sq ft sound stages alongside supporting workshops, wardrobe and prop storage and offices at the scheme which has laid vacant since the mid-1990s.

Capital & Centric acquired the site in February this year with plans to regenerate the Edge Lane building, which once home to the Football Pools and dates back to the 1930s.
