Struggling retailer Carpetright has reported a loss before tax of £11.7m for the first half of the year as it continues its ongoing store closure programme.
The floors and beds retailer announced plans to close 92 sites from its 409 UK store estate as part of a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) earlier this year and has so far shut 76, including 65 during the 26 weeks to 27 October.
