Catesby Property Group has launched a new regeneration arm in an £80m joint venture with Bank of Scotland Corporate.

The West Midlands based commercial developer has set up Catesby Regeneration to focus on residential regeneration in London and the south-east of England.

The new company, which will operate out of an office at 11 Haymarket in London’s West End, will focus on developing brownfield sites.

The schemes will comprise residential, affordable housing and student accommodation.

Committed funding

‘We have substantial committed funding in place to buy sites which meet our criteria for the delivery of regeneration and sustainable development', said Paul Brocklehurst, Catesby group chief executive.

‘We are keen to build on the successful business established to date and extend the Catesby brand into London and the South East, where the prevailing market conditions will create opportunities for well funded companies.’

The company said it is already actively looking at opportunities and expects to be able to announce its first acquisition soon.
