CB Richard Ellis has bought highly-rated Warrington-based industrial agency DGi Davis George.

The deal, believed to be worth around £3m, is expected to be announced on Monday.

The purchase of the five strong DGi Davis George, led by former GVA Grimley duo Tom Davis and Howard George, is the second significant purchase for CBRE in the sheds market after it bought Holley Blake last June for around £12m.

The deal will grow CBRE’s exposure in the north west where it has not traditionally had a strong presence. DGi Davis George has a client list including Morley Fund Management, Royal London Assurance, ProLogis, Devere Group, Threadneedle and DHL.

Neither party would comment on the deal.
