Developer Centros, backed by Delancey, has opened the £100m retail-led arc scheme in Bury St Edmunds today.

Almost two thirds of the 265,000 sq ft scheme is now open and trading, including the 85,000 sq ft Debenhams store. The remaining confirmed retailers will open in the next few weeks.

Tenants include Top shop, Next and H&M. There are also 62 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments are included in Hopkins Architects’ design, situated above the retailers.

Centros and Delancey have worked together with St Edmundsbury Borough Council on Arc, which is currently just under 90% let.

Following its opening Centros, which developed the scheme, will hand over the centre to Delancey which will own and operate it.
