Developers and Creative Sheffield welcome planning approval for the building
Development company Creative Sheffield and developers City Lofts have welcomed today’s planning approval of the city’s tallest building by Sheffield City Council.
Mike Norris, director of the developer City Lofts (Sheffield), said: ‘By working with Sheffield City Council we have reached a compromise that satisfies the need for the highest standards of design and materials by restoring the strongly vertical appearance of building.’
Andy Topley, director of regeneration at Creative Sheffield, added: ‘This is a landmark decision, enabling this key development to proceed whilst retaining the integrity of the original design. We are looking forward to the completion of this development which is integral to Sheffield’s ongoing regeneration.’
