Clarion Housing Group’s private development company Latimer has made its biggest acquisition in the North West to date by agreeing to buy a 165-home site in Sandbach, Cheshire, with a £47m gross development value.
Latimer has exchanged contracts with Gladman Land on the 23 acre site which has outline planning permission, Property Week can reveal. The development, which is located on Abbey Road, will have a mix of two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses of which 116 homes will be for private sale, 32 homes for affordable rent and 17 homes for shared ownership.
