Credit Suisse has made three senior appointments to its property team as it looks to rebuild its presence in the UK market.
Martin Lamb has joined from Capital & Regional to look after asset management in the UK and Ireland, and Matthew Cunliffe and Andrew Hills join from Prupim as portfolio manager and head of business development respectively.
Defections
In September, Credit Suisse appointed David King as head of the UK property team, which has £850m in assets under management.
The appointments follow the defection of Glenn Newson and his team from Credit Suisse to Aberdeen Asset Management.
In October Property Week revealed that Aberdeen would be re-entering the UK property fund market with a £400m pair of funds aimed at taking advantage of falling prices in the UK market (news, 12.10.07).
