Crown Estate to sell stake in retail park JV

Fort Kinnaird

The Crown Estate’s 50% share in the company is believed to be valued at around £130m.

The partnership, which is a 50/50 joint venture between Hercules Unit Trust (HUT) and The Crown Estate, also owns the 246,000 sq ft Gallagher Retail Park in Cheltenham.

The Crown’s share in the partnership is believed to be valued at around £130m. One option for the joint venture, which is advised by British Land and managed by Crestbridge Hercules Management IC, is that HUT could acquire the remaining stake, giving it full ownership.
