Developers say government sites available for sale on this year's land application list are unlikely to attract enthusiastic bidding and many may not attract interest at all.

Complaints range from reserve prices that are too high and locations for commercial sites that are off the beaten track.

Contributing to their disappointment, said developers, was that the government had added only four new sites to the 57 that remained unsold from last year's list and only one of these was for residential purposes.
