Developers work up new Silvertown plans

Lendlease and Starwood in talks with GLA over plans for the £3.5bn project.

The joint venture partners, which took over as development partners this week, are in talks with landowners the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Newham Council to develop detailed plans for the 50-acre site.

They bought the development rights from The Silvertown Partnership (TSP), which comprises First Base, Chelsfield Properties and Macquarie Capital and was named preferred developer by the GLA six years ago.
