One of the founders of Doughty Hanson is understood to be suing his former partners over his stake in the private equity and property investment group. The Times


Bruce Roe, who left the firm last year, is understood to be claiming his stake is worth about £104m, while an independent valuation from PricewaterhouseCoopers valued it at just £9.2m.

Roe is suing the firm’s two remaining partners, Nigel Doughty, who is chairman of Nottingham Forest Football Club, and Richard Hanson.
