DTZ has entered the Russian hotel market with the appointment of a new team in Moscow.

DTZ Hospitality Group will be headed by director David Jenkins, who was recruited from Horwath HTL in Moscow where he was director of Russian operations. He will lead a team of five.

David O’Hara, general director of DTZ Russia said: ‘Hospitality is one of the most rapidly emerging sectors in the commercial real estate markets of Russia and CIS. The launch of this business will now allow the Russian DTZ office to provide a full range of services to clients across the region.’

The team will focus on: ‘operator search, contract negotiations, feasibility studies, development strategies, valuations, investments, asset management and resort masterplanning.’

Before entering Russia, the DTZ Hospitality Group operates out of the UK, US, Spain and the Middle East.
