Bob Dyson, executive chairman of Manchester-based Dunlop Haywards, is to leave the company after thirty years to join Jones Lang LaSalle as chairman of its north west business

Dyson will work with Jonathan Mills, Jones Lang LaSalle’s head of Manchester office, on expanding the business in the area. He will also focus on the firm’s development business.

Dyson is executive chairman of Dunlop Haywards with overall responsibility for development and investment activities in Manchester and the North West.

Mills said: ‘Bob is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures on the Manchester property scene. We are delighted to be able to attract someone of Bob's calibre into our business to complement our existing team.

‘His great experience and track record in development and regeneration projects; and his breadth of senior-level contacts will be a terrific asset as we grow our business.’
