Budget hotel chain EasyHotel has announced plans to open 60 hotels in prime city locations across the UK, rest of Europe and the Middle East over the next three years. The Independent on Sunday

The ‘no-frills’ hotel format, whereby guests are charged for towels, windows and remote controls, is already operating in three locations in London and one in Basle. There are plans to open in Luton, Zurich and Budapest by the end of the year.

EasyHotel has already signed a franchise agreement with I.gen to open 10 hotels in Germany. It also has a tie-up with Dubai investment company Istithmar and plans to open up to 35 hotels in the Middle East.
