Empiric refinances £86m debt

Empiric Student Properties has refinanced £86.1m of debt with a new 10-year facility provided by Scottish Widows.

The new facility is interest only at an annual rate of 3.196% for 10 years, secured against a portfolio of the company’s operating assets.
