Ferrovial, the Spanish owner of airports operator BAA, has admitted that its plans for the business include the possible sale of one of its three London airports. The Daily Telegraph

Commentators believe Gatwick is the most likely airport to be surrendered if the Competition Commission forces baa to break up its London monopoly.

Ferrovial finance director Nicolas Villen said the company was in no hurry to refinance £9bn of BAA debt, having previously said the refinancing would be completed this year.
