A major fire has broken out on Breams Buildings in central London, just behind Fleet Street.

Twelve fire engines and 65 firefighters are working to put out the blaze in the five-storey buliding, which is let to the Immigration and Appeals Commission and is currently being refurbished.

There are no reports of anybody trapped or injured by the blaze, although the surrounding area is shut for traffic.

It is not known what has caused the fire.
